How I Work
Building systems that last by starting where the real problems live.
Many business owners worry about bringing in a consultant who becomes a bottleneck — the only one who knows how things work. My approach is different. I get into the weeds temporarily so I can see what’s really going on, then I build systems and train your team to run them without me.
The result: a business that runs smoothly, without depending on me or on you.
My Three-Phase Process
Phase 1: Investigation (In the Weeds)
I start on the ground level — observing processes, reviewing checklists, asking your team to walk me through daily work. This is the fastest way to uncover what’s really causing the breakdowns.
Typical findings at this stage:
Someone is hiding mistakes or avoiding accountability.
A system is broken and no one knows how to fix it.
Communication gaps mean leaders don’t have the right information to make decisions.
By seeing the work as it actually happens, I get the clarity needed to build solutions that stick.
Phase 2: Systems Building
Next, I take what I’ve learned and start fixing and creating systems.
I build SOPs, checklists, and workflows to address the most costly issues.
I collaborate with your team so they learn while we build together.
I identify who on your staff has the aptitude to take on systems and process work long-term.
This ensures the solutions fit your business and have ownership inside your team.
Phase 3: Delegation & Training
Finally, I roll out the systems and oversee implementation.
I train your team to use and maintain the systems.
I delegate ownership so your people are accountable, not me.
I step back into a coaching role — ensuring things run smoothly, not running them myself.
The Bottom Line
I go deep at first so I can be unnecessary later. My goal is always the same: a team that runs independently, supported by strong systems, while you’re freed up to focus on growth.
